Hotel was a little hard to find (especially when tired from travel), but once I did, it was great for my needs. Check-in was easy, welcoming staff, quiet, comfortable and clean room. Breakfast was great - had a lot of options for whether you are just grabbing something and running to your flight, or able to sit down and enjoy a hot meal. Will gladly stay here if I ever have the same flight connection again.

Super close to airport. Short ride away from the city. Staff were very welcoming, as well as the overall vibe and atmosphere of the common area. The retro-vibes airplane room decor was lovely. I especially love the metal grid on the wall for hanging necessities. Under bed and under washroom cabinet lighting was a very thoughtful touch for midnight trips to the washroom

Great stay at Moxy, totally recommend it if you're going to the airport, as it's right in the airport, just need to cross the street. Even if you're going to Cologne, train just takes 15 minutes to the main station, so I couldn't ask for more. Room was big enough with a giant TV and verything was very clean. The welcome drinks were also appreciated. Will definitely stay here in my next trip!

Friendly and helpful staff, great view from the terrace in the 5th floor where reception and bar/restaurant are located. Well equipped ironing room. Gym in the basement with plenty of equipment. Access to the room floors via elevator only with a key card. Even though located next to the airport, quiet rooms available. Rich breakfast buffet. Housekeeping service only on request.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly . The location is excellent as you are only a few steps from Terminal 1 and the train station . Complementary drinks on arrival. The hotel room and bathroom were small, very clean, and functional. Considering how close the hotel is to the airport, it was surprisingly and welcoming quiet. We didn't dine at the hotel, so I couldn't comment on the food quality. We would definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting Cologne.

This is perfectly located for anyone flying out early in the morning. It's literally opposite the entrance to Terminal 1. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. We liked that we could connect our phones to the TV for Netflix, YouTube, Spotify etc. The facilities were good, everything worked well and there were a lot of quirky features which added to the uniqueness of this hotel. It was a nice touch getting a welcome drink after we checked in.

Very beautiful roof terrace. Very nice airport-themed interior (corridors and rooms). The airport surroundings are a very nice feature (especially for my son who is an aircraft enthusiast!) The night airport view from the room is very attractive.

The staff were excellent and really friendly. Their English was perfect and they were very accommodating during our stay. The breakfast was very good, alot of selection for the very early start that we had (7am), and the general look and feel of the bar and seating area were of a high quality and very stylish.

Perfect way to get a shower, a place to leave my bags, catch the train into the city for dinner, and a few hours of sleep, during an overnight layover in Cologne. For anyone considering doing the same -- I had 11.5 hours lay over, 6pm to 6 am, and by the time I dropped my bags, took a shower, took the train (there was a small delay), I had about 3 or 4 hours at dinner, then train back and slept for a few hours, then up early to get ready to back to the airport. The hotel is in the airport but outside the terminal so you walk outside and cross a street but you're technically still "in" the airport, and the train to the city is right next to it as well.

It is so close to the airport, yet you would have never known unless you looked out of the window. The only time I heard a plane was when I opened a window.! There were a couple of electrical sockets that had USB and USC connections, and they are positioned just right, one next to the bed and the other by the shelf under the TV. I wish more hotels would do this. The food in the restaurant was very nice. All the staff were friendly and polite.
